Kai Kristiansen is a renowned Danish furniture designer, celebrated for his contribution to the mid-century modern movement. Born in 1929, he began his career as a cabinetmaker and later trained at the prestigious Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts under the guidance of designer Kaare Klint. Kristiansen is known for his innovative, functional, and elegant designs that combine high-quality craftsmanship with modern aesthetics. This beautiful rosewood cabinet was made in the 1960s. It has two sliding tambour doors that slide into the cabinet, hiding the doors while fully opening the front to reveal an adjustable shelve. Crafted with a beautiful rosewood grain, this stunning piece would look gorgeous in any mid-century home.
